Insurance trouble.

Hello,
Im new to the site but need opinions on my current proble.
My Insurance is up for renewal, and i have recieved a renewal price of £1400 from a previous £1600 (Im 22 by the way). I thought this was good and started to look over insurance details and noticed that 3points which i recieved over a year ago were not on there. I phone the insurance company and they claimed I have never Declared the points, which i did as soon as i recieved them on my licence. They have quoted me £1800 now and are also sending me a invoice for £400 Which they claim is what i should have paid on the previous years insurance. (a total of £2200 from £1600). I have told them i am not willing to pay for something which i have already used and paid for.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Grav

You do owe them the money, and they will pursue you for it, escalating it if you remain "unwilling to pay".0

Look at your old policy documents. When you renewed the policy last year you should have checked your documents then and if it's not mentioned on them then you were responsible for not correcting them. Write to their complaints department saying that it was their administrative error and will they waive the extra premium this time. If not you will probably have to pay. You could always end up going to the ombudsman but if your old policy documents list no points then I don't think you will get very far.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
