Confetti - are you having it?

This sounds really silly BUT i am not sure whether i want confetti or not. Well, i love th idea of it and i like to be traditional BUT my hair is heavy and thick and to be honest it will be a nightmare trying to make it stay up (having half up/down thingy) - if people throw stuff at me, it will go in my hair - i will then obviously wana get it out but will be paranoid about making my hair fall down!!!!

I know all that sounds Bridezilla but i dont care LOL... anyone who has mega thick fluffy and evil hair will understand!!!

So - are you all having confetti and if not, why not and what are u having instead - if anything?! :D
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

I'm gonna use bubbles instead - they look really pretty in the photos and not so messy either!

My venue only allows dried flower petals, but they provide them for free which I'm very please about.
It wouldn't feel like a weding without confetti! :D

I think it does look pretty and I'm sure you'll have enough to worry about without the odd bit landing in your hair :)
I know a lot of places now insist on more 'green' varieties and some ban it all together. When I got married we were told that we shouldn't throw confetti inside the church grounds but what p***ed us off was that the vicar made a real big thing of it during the wedding - it was like a public announcement telling us all off! We dutifully all filed outside the church grounds for the confetti shot at which point there was a massive gust of wind blew the whole lot back inside :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We're having confetti, don't think I'd be bothered if it got stuck in my hair though and mine is very long, thick and curly.

we're providing dried rose petals for outside the town hall and guests confetti at the reception venue, as there is a great terrace for a confetti shot with the sea behind us.

We had confetti, but I was a bit bridezilla about it and only had ivory and gold, lol, we only had 6 guests so I had bought enough for everyone, I wasn't bothered about getting it in my hair, but spent ages picking it out of my cleavage! :rotfl:

I asked our venue if I could have confetti, the reply was 'of course you can (the hoover is in the cupboard)' which made me giggle!! My mum would be gutted if she couldn't chuck the stuff at me! :D
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:

I wont be able to have it because of my choice of venue - but I knew that from the start! No bubbles either! Beware of bubbles, they can mark some dress fabrics.
