New Windows Fitted - Is This Right?

Hi, this might be a silly question - but we've just had new windows and external doors fitted, and the fitters have left things a bit rough around the edges to say the least.
My question is, is it the window company's responsibility to make good the plaster etc surrounding the windows and doors, or is it a job for a builder at additional expense?
Thanks in advance.

I'd expect them to be able to fit the windows with a minimum amount of damage. Mind you they nearly always manage to run a bead of sealant over the wallpaper making it great fun when you come to repaper.
If you're not satisfied then ring 'em up and bawl 'em out.
Got any pics?

Yes making good is usually included in the works. Just call them up on a friendly one and explain. Obviously pay after these bits have been done.0

all depends. some state that no making good is done. others (most) say all making good is done.
but making good may not be to a superfine finish that some comsumers are expecting.
the rest is down to the final decor, which is never covered.Get some gorm.0 -
Thanks everyone - that's what I thought. I'll raise it with them.0
