I thought that the fees loan got sent straight to your university not to you?

They do - thats the issue!! SLC are now paying my fees and I have already signed the loan agreement so the fees are being paid by directly to the Uni by them, but I will have the bursary money in the bank. So I will owe 3000 for something I have the money for anyway. I cant pay off the loan early either ??

I think it sucks that all of these companies (and the Uni in fact) dont confirm anything until the last minute. Its no wonder I'm getting in such a state about everything.
I'm supposed to start Uni this month but I havent heard anything about my start date, no timetable yet or even a welcome letter from the college (I'm studying at a partner college not the main campus) and when they do decide to let me know I've got to arrange my childcare at the last minute if I need it. I applied in February and got all my bursary forms in as soon as they were issued so its not even me that been disorganised. I hate not knowing!!!! :mad:
