hi
this may sound very silly but how do i know that tax credits have now being stopped.
most people would say ring them which i have and said i wanted ti caneled last year...and after that i didnt hear anything from them or recieve anything for them...
i never recieved anything as it was a joint claim and my ex was paid the money even though i canceled the claim 2 months after ti was opened, as we spilt, and i did let them know...but they claim i didnt... so we owe them money..its only 200 quid or just under btu still..
my worry now is that i havent recieved anything back from them even though i have rang them and also wrote to them asking them to make sure the claim has endded and also a form for me to fill me as i believe i shouldnt have to pay the over payment as i informed them of changes...
i just want to make sure the claim has endded and have proof of this as i dont want to risk anymore mis-aps
cheers
