driving licence endorsements???

My husband hreceived a letter throught the post stating that he had been caught speeding and had to pay the £60 plus 3 points, he sent the payment and his licence off, today he has received his licence back, and noted that the endorsements have been just hand written, and no receipt isssued for the fine payment, is this correct as he assumed the endorsemnets would have been printed or typed on the licence counter part and he expected a receipt for the £60.

the court in your area will of written the points in common practice.. how did you pay the fine??? if you had not of paid the fine then the licenese wont of been returned until you didSealed pot challenger # 10

we filled in the section for card details to pay the fine.
