I ahve one question after all that...whats dial as you go!?
And why assume Im subscribed to football games,gambling etc.?Im not...?Make £10 a day challenge July - £29/£3100 -
Now these silly arguments are not get anyone anywhere. Stop it, before I bang both your heads together:beer:
( 2nd time I've used that phrase today, 1st time was with my 5 and 8 year olds )
Landlord ( for which I am one ) or Tenant ( i've never been ) both are human and the OP has her own two young kids to think about.
Let's just 'Try' and be a little bit more constructive instead of having a go at each other to see who comes out with the least amount of bruises.:D0 -

Oh and as for the "hundreds" of credit searches on my file in the last year; there are about 70 which I know is loads, and thats when I kept applyingfor credit! Not entirely sure why I did but I was panicking at the time and hoping I could get a loan to payoff the landlord.
I have no idea what the CCJ is for and when I said I could easily pay it off, I meant save up for a few weeks and pay it off...but the trouble is, when I do that, the money has to come from somewhere - usually the food bill.
And I DO have 2 pairs of knickers...would you like me to take a photo of my underwear drawer to prove it to you!?? :rotfl:Make £10 a day challenge July - £29/£3100 -

On 'some' websites, they would pay you for the photo's ( mainly in Japan I think, where there are vending machines selling 'used ladies knickers' and before any starts it was on a TV program I haven't been searhing the web )0 -
And another point. If you only have two pairs of knickers, then I am pressuming that one pair you are wearing and the other pair are in the wash.
So my question is, which ones will you post the picture of, the ones on your bum or the dirty ones!
( this may well now create a discussion on which should be posted )0 -
I just have no clue why someone seems so insistant that I have more underwear than I say I have (really...would I lie about something as embarrassing as that!?) and to prove I really spend all my (sorry..."your" - taxpayers) money on big tvs, red wine and luxury washing powder!! :rotfl:
I would like to add that this spell of not working is killing me.
I AM a hard worker, I got my first job aged 15 and a half and have been working in retail and restaurant trade ever since - ok not a career but you still work pretty damn hard!
I was regularly taking on 12-14 hour shifts while pregnant with my first child so Im not one to just sit back and fluff my nest with other peoples money!
I did look at the links (so thank you for posting them) and there area couple of recipes on there that I like the look of; but TBH it still wont be much cheaper than what I spend already...
ETA: Colin. I know, I shouldnt have posted the underwear comment and I regret it now,I was just trying to make a point that Im not dressed head to toe in armani while my landlord is scraping the bottom of his pockets to make ends meet!Make £10 a day challenge July - £29/£3100 -

I have no doubt about that at all.
Getting back onto Topic, As I said before, contact your local council on Monday and see if they have a Welfare Rights Support Officer who will be able to help you.0 -
By my reckoning (never having made a claim) assuming 2 kids, one at school, using no childcare, and that you are over 25, you should be getting at least the amounts below.
Child benefit £33.70 per week
Income support £65.45 per week
Child tax credit £4000 per year = £99 per week
That comes to about £198/week
Your council tax should also be being paid.
If you are paying for ANYTHING else, you need to let the board know, because to be totally honest £200/week plus free housing and council tax (via housing benefit) you should be a lot better off than you seem to be.
Is that roughly what you are recieving?
I've been pretty conservative with those, not looked for anything extra, although you will be paying back something for the budgeting loan.
With regards yo the landlord situation, if he actually wants to move back in a few months time - he's not going to find another tenant for 3 months is he?Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0
