Typhoon drysuits - beware!!!

Just a warning to anyone who's thinking of buying one of these.
I ordered a surface drysuit through my local typhoon stockist only to find when it arrived that the advertised latex socks were actually inferior drysuit fabric socks. I was advised (convinced by experienced staff) that they should work fine anyway and so (perhaps naive of me) I took the advice and bought the suit.
Got it home and found that the 'socks' were cut so badly that you couldn't actually get any type of footwear over them, and there was so much extra sock that even if you could get footwear on you'd have too much excess material anyway...
I also found that the back zip doesn't have a cover to protect it so it sticks out, and the zip itself has a huge loop on it, ready to catch on something and potentially cause an accident.
I'm really disappointed and although they've resolved the socks issue after I've complained, I've lost all confidence in the product and feel I'm stuck with an inferior product. So much for buying a British brand and supporting independent retailers.
Beware!
