:mad: Is there any way I can send a place on Google Earth to my pal in America , if it has no name ? It's an iron age hillfort but it isnt near an actual place, and she wont find it .??

Find the place, right click on it and select email.....
Will send them a file which they can open in Google Earth and it will take them to that location.0 -
There are probably a number of ways. Another is to click the "Placemark" item on the toolbar, put a placemark where you want to point, and then choose File, Email, Email Placemark.0

I use Google Maps in Satellite mode, and having centred the map on the object of interest I just click on the Link link at the right-hand-side and save the URL. For example, here are some interesting hill formations near the tiny village of Uley Bury, which may or may not be something to do with its hill fort!0
