Hi,
We were using Evergreen on the grass and spilled a bit of the patio here and there and now we have these yellowy marks on patio where it spilled.
Not coming off using water bleach, washing up liquid, any ideas?
Oh we also have some grease marks what can we use for that?
(Don't have the money for a pressure washer)

The yellow is iron sulphate. I presume your patio is concrete slabs?
You won't be able to remove this stain. You might be able to reduce it with a pressure washer (borrow one from a neighbour?)
All you can really do is wait for it to fade away over time.
The iron sulphate actually reacts with chemicals in the cement as well as getting absorbed.
As for the grease marks - pressure wassher again I'm afraid, after brushing in degreaser or a strong washing up liquid and water mix and leaving it for a while.
Concrete is porous, absorbent and quite permeable and has a high surface area at the microscopic level, making stains difficult to remove.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I have stone slabs which got marked with rust which dripped from a wet metal chair after a big rainfull.
I scrubbed it with everything and nothing worked BUT I used fine sand paper when it had dried and it faded it right down and now 2 weeks later its gone completely.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

We found a solution!!!
Neat lemon juice from the bottle. Came right off and left the slab good as new underneath! : DWins 2010 (holiday pretty please!): Jan:BlueReefAquariumTicket!Feb: TottenhamTeamMascotExperience!Mar: AvonPerfume£100YatesbartabAltonTowersbreak!Apr: - May: BicSoleilRazor June:2OdeonTickets BicRazorAgainHippHamperHamper July:HairAwards2010 Products!Aug:Nothing Sep: Nothing:( Oct: DailyMail£250!0
