Family three ready for big run

jay.jpg

Fundraising really will run in the family for a big-hearted charity challenge trio.

Three generations of Phylippa Ellis's family are putting on their jogging gear for a 5km charity run, to help the Colchester-based Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre on Sunday 4th September.

Go-for-it gran Phylippa, 64, a counsellor at the centre, has been training for Sunday's women-only event in London.

Daughter Jay Denton was diagnosed with the disease 13 years ago, but plans to sail round the 5km Hyde Park course in a wheelchair. Her five-year-old daughter, Rebekah, completes the team - although she may hitch a crafty ride with Mum.

If you would like to sponsor Jay in this amazing effort please go to her online charity page at http://www.justgiving.com/jays5k
