Best Notice Account

I have some spare cash I want to get the maximum interest on. I don't need it right now, so I was thinking that one of those 90 day notice would be the best.

Is there any particularly good accounts anyone can recommend???

The ruffler bank seem to offer the highest interest rate at the moment: http://www.rufflerbank.co.uk/

However you could also consider using a batch of regular savers paid from a Coventry First account.

Somewhat illogically, easy-access savings accounts, particularly online savers, usually pay more competitive rates of interest than notice accounts, which offer very little extra in return for the conditions which must be met. For instance, Abbey, Birmingham Midshires, Bradford & Bingley and Yorkshire Building Society now offer market-leading rates on their E Savers.

Alternatively, if you can afford to leave a lump sum untouched for a bit, it may be worth considering a fixed rate term account.

For instance, Halifax have a three year fixed rate bond which pays 5.55% on sums of £500 plus. Shorter terms which earn slightly lower rates of interest are also available.

The Ruffler Bank mentioned in #2 pays mouth-watering returns. Looks a little too good to be true, TBH. Does anyone know anything about them?
