Should I feel good???

I made my last payment of £650 on my 0% cc. I've managed to pay off £2.5k since Feb. Infact I'm 1 month early paying it off. I'll be skint this month cause of the overpayment, but I don't care!! I feel so good about it! :j

Now... just two student OD to go! :j :D

    Thanks All!!!

The only way I done it was lots of overtime!!! The thing is when I was getting in to debt I could of (and easily did!!) waste £650 on nothing! Now days I wouldn't dream of doing anything like that!!! I'd be guilt ridden for weeks after!!! lol

Anyhoo.. it's just been a change of attitude toward money! I've still got a long way to go.. 2 large Student OD, plus I've included my Student Loan in my debt figure and car finance, but I'm trying and slowly getting there!!!!

I had my lightbulb moment Nov 05 and god I've changed! I like bargain hunting, ordering freebies and of course love MSE!!! I managed to pay my car insurance outright (1k!!!) and keep ontop of all the lil things that pop up when you least want them too! Already got over half my xmas pressies, and 1/3 of my road tax for next year, a very small amount of savings (which is my car excess) and managed to book a holiday for next year (flying on my birthday!! A Well done treat but still MSE!!).

I "think" I've manage to come along way not only doing the things I wanted but without getting any MORE in to debt.. and of course paying off what I owe!!! I've tried to keep the balance of living life but making the sure the bills are paid which makes it fun and very challenging!!!!

Becoming MSE has made me wiser, healthier and an all round better person! I signed up to be a bone marrower doner yesterday... just keep me in tune that there's more to life then money!!! It's hard believing that sometimes.... but I KNOW it now! I've even developed my career and having even been thinking about doing some more rewarding (when I'm debt free!!).

In Nov I felt like debt was holding me back... but now.. I know with time I can do anything I like!! :D

Well done you:T You are an inspiration to us all and well done for deciding to be a bone marrow doner. Not sure I could do that myself but I used to give blood regularly until I had a blood transfusion myself and now can't give any more:mad:
