Evening all-been scorchio here today!
Was up at marquee for 9am,then had a mad dash round for white roses..managed to round up enough in the end, although we ran short of blue thistles! Made 32 table centres and 3 large pedastal displays, and finished by 1330,so back home for a quick couple of hours in the sun. Have to be back there for 9.30 in the morning to decorate marquee itself in a woodland theme, and decorate tables so tonight I is mainly gettin' an indian takeaway and doing a pedicure.... Happy birthday Pooks!!!Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -
LMC, it's water. Everyone will gain that much throught the day. Only need to weigh yourself 1 a month really unless you are trying to reduce your weight-then do it once a week, in the morning.
SRM-post pictures if you can-sounds gorgeous!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Cheers Bun, I've become a tad obsessed with weighing myself recently. I use to be 16stone and managed to lose 2.5stone in a year and a half, however slowly my weight's crept back up and I want to shed a stone if possible.
I will take your advise and only use the scales at work on a Wednesday for my weighin and avoid the body training thing on the wii.
SRM - all the effort will be worth it tomorrow.0 -
Lizzie~Great news on the job

Do you have a start date yet?
Tenmah~Hope you can speak to someone today.
Take care.
Thanks Beanie. I told my manager and he was really angry that the other manager hadn't intervened, but I asked him not to say anything as we have got to continue working together. He said it was ok for me to never speak to the the tenant again or go round to hers.
She phoned up various people in the council telling them how much she hated me and she didn't want to speak to me or she would swear, which I find embarrasing as they will all think I am useless at my job.
She also shouted at a few of them, telling them we had to remove the adaptation today. Then she phoned me on my phone - luckily I wasn't there and someone else took the call, and told them she wanted to keep the adaptation, which I think just shows what a changeable person she is.
Still, all done and dusted now - til the next time she wants something!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Got a £1000 bonus this month due to being an outstanding employee (ironic really, after she told me how useless I was at my job yesterday!) so really pleased about that. Will wait until after my holiday before I use a most of it to pay some off my debt :jOD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Yay on the bonus tenmah and happy birthday Pooky, sounds like you're having a fab day.
*is behaving herself*
Today I have been jogging and shredded, then sat in the park and read for a bit. There was a cockatiel in the park, so I gave him a drink of water out of my bottle lid and he chirruped at me and went off, so I think he was happy and needed a drink. Reckon he escaped and I helped him.
Found 4p whilst out, so put it in the pot.
Have also done more cross stitch, have nearly finished the horse's head so am chuffed. Just need to do a bit by the nose.
Also have been eating lots of fruit including Aldi cherries (bit tart but not too bad) and my going-brown bananas...nomnom.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Tenmah,
I think the woman sounds unbalanced-I am not being rude, to me it sounds as though he issues run a whole heck of a lot deeper than needing some adaptions to her home. It must have been AWFUL for you and I am sad you had to go thru that. I also think your manager is spineless.
I think your £1000 bonus speaks VOLUMES. Now, dust yourself off and step away from the experience, it is in the past and no longer a reality anymore. xxxx
LMC-well done on losing the weight. You will get back to where you feel comfortable with your attitude. xxxEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Mmm just been thinking. My plan has always been to pay off my debt and then to start saving for a car. So I was going to use £700 of my bonus to pay some off and would then have finished paying the loan at the beginning of September. But now I am thinking about carrying on paying £325 per month which would mean the loan would be paid off by December of this year - way before it was first due to finish, which was Nov 2011 and still before my 50th in March, and save the £1000 so I will already have a good head start when the debt is gone, rather than saving £325 per month and seeing it mount up ever so slowly.
What does anyone think? Could I put the £1000 away and not touch it, this is the thing!!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j
