Ive got an 08 plate MINI which I can apparently connect my ipod.
How do I do this, does anybody know?
I think I need a wire, the hole Im supposed to connect it to looks like a headphone socket.
I can't buy a cable because I don't know what to ask for!!
Help!!

HI I have an 08 mini and I have an Aux cable, it plugs into the socket then into the headphone socket on the ipod. Works well have to then select aux mode on the radio/cd player, need to turn the ipod sound up high and the stereo sound up too.Disn't think mine worked at first due to the sound.
I went into HMV and asked them what it was I needed but I think you can pick these up anywhere.
It was about a tenner ,,,,prob overpaid but din't know what to get.

this is similar to the one I have0 -
What Googler said..
although my Touch came with a lead which was about six inches long, and my aux socket is in the glove box which makes selecting the next album a bit of a no no.
Luckily I had a lead about 2 feet long which means I can have the Touch in the centre console.
You need the Ipod volume set at max and control the volume of your sound system as normal0 -
Get a decent stereo with a USB socket on it, you can get one for £100.Nothing to see here, move along.0
