Sweet Peas were doing so well, but ............

This afternoon, during my daily inspection, I have a number of whiteish leaves at the bottom of my sweet peas, with teeny weeny green wormy things on the leaves, not sure if it's my imagination, but the bottom growth seems to have really thinned out.

Any idea what these little green things are, are they likely to cause further damage? if so, what can I do???

I really would appreciate some help on this, failed miserably to grow them in the past but this year they really seem (ed) to be thriving, with loads of flower buds...

I really would appreciate any advice

Thanks
Monica
