If her income is low enough she can claim, yes.

What's her gross earnings for 09/10 tax year, and her estimated gross earnings for 10/11? Does she have a partner or child staying too? If she's single with no kids and no disabilities, she would likely be able to claim if either of the incomes are £13316 or less (this includes gross employments earnings, any taxable social security benefits, company benefits e.g. company car or fuel expenses, self employed income, and any "other" taxable income)
  • she was 25 on 12th june this year, her gross pay is 9250 although she earn`t a little more last year with overtime

Her gross pay needs to include her overtime. Her p60 will give you the info. But unless she had an excessive amount of overtime, it sounds like she would qualify. She should phone the tax credits helpline on 0845 300 3900 with her National Insurance number and request them do a calculation to see if she's eligible/entitled, and to request a claim pack. When she does at any point give estimates of income, it's important she doesn't give just the basic pay figure you mentioned, as this might lead to overpayments if she tends to get overtime. She is better overestimating slightly and it would be sorted at the end of the year if she earns less.
  • If your daughter has no children of her own then she will not be entitled to Tax Credits unless she works 30 hours per week.
