    Not very much!

There was a thread on this 18 months ago. See:

I haven't looked recently but I don't suppose it has changed much. It really was/is a disgrace that a respected organisation like Age Concern lend their name to this tariff. They only do it because they get a 'kickback' from Powergen.

You'll find that if you an average user it would cost you more on this tariff as the secondary rate is more expensive then the standard tariff. Just a word of advice.

We were with Powergen Age Concern up to about a couple of weeks ago when we changed to EBICO. We had transferred to Powergen from BG after we checked USwitch, which stated we would save £95 per annum.

We had never had such expensive fuel bills in our life, even though we pay quarterly Powergen's Summer bills seemed almost as expensive as Winter.

We were with them about 9 months, hoping the bills would average out. In the end we couldn't get away fast enough.

I've also just switched off this tariff after being on it for some time. From memory you get a box of free energy saving lightbulbs and carbon monoxide detectors. I think there's other things but only if you are over 60 (I'm 26!) so I can't remember what they are. All in all I don't think the perks are at all worth being on this tariff for if another tariff is cheaper.
