  • Now, as promised.....

    :heart2::heart2::heart2::heart2:I love Angelic!!! :heart2::heart2::heart2::heart2:

    Myself and Mr Fresian were wanting to go away somewhere nice for our 10 year anniversary in a couple of weeks, and thought about the Lake District, but the hotel I really loved was £350 for two nights :eek: Luckily the lovely Mary works for that chain, and we're now on a very MSE rate :j I can't wait to go away and really relax for a couple of days. You're the best!!!

    Right, work calls, have a good day all!

    Awww...Thank you :o:D

    But em...it is for September isn't it? :cool: :p

    I will only post occasionally, hopefully! I'm trying not to abuse my mobile internet too much :D

    Morning all!

    I'm back from sunny Belfast and sad that I didn't get to spend more time there as it was awesome :D The total cost of the trip was over £300, but it's all reclaimable and most of it went on my Tesco card, so there will be lots of lovely points coming to me before Christmas!

    Money

    PAD/Spends = £197.99
    Groceries = £149.45
    Entertainment = £30
    Purse = £21.67
    Outstanding loan = £1289.35

    There are 27 days until payday :D

    I'm definitely going to be under £1000 by next payday as I haven't made my monthly payment of £128 yet, and still have the rent money to receive. I'm not PADding all of the rent money, as I need spends for myself and Mr Fresian's trip away, but hope to be looking at an outstanding balance of around £950 by the time next payday rolls around :j

    Hello Fresian
    Glad you enjoyed your trip away, even although it was work! Oh and well done on getting your anniversary trip at a bargain through angelic, that's very kind of her indeed, but then we Scots are just lovely I suppose aren't we?! hee hee
    Gosh, I bet you can't believe just how far you have come in the past few years sometimes, how well you have done and just how many changes for the better we have all made for the better, and we must credit all the lovely people on this site, and of course this site itself for it really.
    would you recommend Belfast for a weekend trip away then?

    Hi Primula,

    My services don't stop at Flyin', I've figured that the more people I can try to help, the more favours people will owe me...not so very lovely afterall eh?! :D :rotfl:

  • O.k Flyin' I've been MIA for quite a few days now...

    I'm ashamed to say that I've spend a massive £185.50 on various things from xmas to petrol.

    I will get back into declaring spends everyday as I was shocked seeing exactly where my cash went (mainly Tesco :mad:)

    I've also got myself a bank charge :o BUT in my defence, It's only the second one I've had and I got let off with the 1st one :D - I'm a wee bit annoyed about it anyway, I was £17ish overdrawn (as of yesterday morning as my credit card payment went out and I totally forgot about it) but they still let me put through a £23ish payment yesterday afternoon, had my payment been declined then I would have known something was wrong and checked online banking. I never looked until this morning - so they will be taking £5.00 out of my account next month :cool:

    I really would. It's a beautiful city and the people can't do enough for you. It's still quite an odd city to visit when you know the history of the place - it's still the only city I have ever been to where there are streets with Union Jacks and pictures of the Queen on every lamppost....but that's all part of what makes the history I suppose. I really wish I had been given enough time to do a tour for example.

    I did notice! I was MIA too, but my excuse was being without internet :rotfl:

    Money for today

    PAD/Spends = £205
    Groceries = £136.95
    Entertainment = £30
    Purse = £7.09
    Outstanding loan = £1283.86

    Spends yesterday

    £2.50 on stuff for dinner and some ham
    £10 on M&S Dine In For £10 (We're having roast chicken tonight, yummy!!)
