Fantastic news FF!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've often read your diary and seen you on other threads. Just wanted to say well done!
It's lovely to think about how the future funds can be used towards the better things in life. Sounds like a lovely evening of celebration - although ice-cream! In weather like this?!
Congratulations again!

In Scotland, this is considered mild weather
Also, my love of Ben and Jerrys can never be overstated...Stick around to motivate us, and remember what I asked about the MFW? :rotfl:
I'm going nowhere! I'm thinking about a new diary, maybe in time for the New Year
I did reply to your question about MFW, you might have missed it!0 -

I did reply to your question about MFW, you might have missed it!Oh yes...I just flicked back. And a very sensible path you will br treading, too.
Also, given your delight in all things Ben and Jerry's, I think it would be both a treat and :money: to treat yourself to an ice-cream maker as your Debt Free present. And a recipe book. And then a subscription to Weight Watchers! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'

Morning folks
It looks like (whisper it...) it didn't snow here last night *faint* but the news does say that the temperature was at -13C
The heating is on in Fresian Towers....
Money Post
PAD/Spends - £110
Entertainment - £141.79
Groceries - £83.41
Purse - £5
Outstanding debt - None
Savings (!!) - £7.45
The savings I'll mention in my money posts will be the ISA I have, which is where I'm PADding now until I use up the rest of my allowance for the tax year. I have other savings - my Sealed Pots and my Virtual Sealed Pots, but I'm not including them. Whatever I save in them throughout 2011 will be for treats, whereas the ISA is going to be my safety net.
Now, although I have cash, and all is looking quite healthy, there are a few things to be covered before the next payday...
Night out this Saturday - allocating £40 to this from my entertainment budget
Trip to Glasgow to see Double Trouble (Yay!) - £40 allocated for train, lunch and Primark
Dinner with colleagues - £20 allocated
London trip - Will spend what I spend to be honest, Mama Fresian has promised funds too
My current thoughts are:
We get paid almost a week early in December (Woo!) so I can use my normal loan payment as a contingency fund and if I have to break into it then I get to spend less in the sales. I think it might be sensible to do this as I clearly have quite a lot planned! What does everyone think?

good plan FF just wanted to say congrats, thats a great amount to have cleared in 2yrs well done.0

Sounds like an excellent plan re the loan payment amount, and how nice to be able to have the slack to make plans like that, eh?! Well done again - I was grinning all over my face when I read your "Outstanding debt - None!" comment!
Ice cream makers are great by the way, but you do need to have the space to keep the bowl in the freezer if it's that type otherwise you'll never use it.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
