Moving to rented to speed up sale

We have an ongoing saga which started back in March when we got an offer on our house. We got a fully proceedable chain in April and it was moving along nicely

We were told for 9 weeks that we had a really solid chain and it should be a relatively smooth transaction and it was all going swimmingly when the bottom buyer pulled out.

Another FTB was found at the bottom and again rushing along nicely when 2 weeks ago our vendors then decide they cannot buy the house they were buying and after 5 months had to pull out!!!!

Luckily within days they found somewhere else and things are moving again but how long it will take who knows?????

The owners of the house at the top of the chain have said they'll go into rented accommodation so we can all move quickly.

Does anybody know how easy this is to do, or does that take ages too???

All we want to do is move!!!!

if they find a house to rent which is currently empty, it can be just a few days before they move in - is that what you mean ?
