Halifax easy cash account process

Hi everyone,
I recently applied for a halifax easy cash account and i recieved my user name for internet banking and temp password which came through the post. I have now registered for my online banking which i can see my account number e.t.c. Have i been guarenteed acceptance for this bank? I know i need to credit the account with £10 asap but i called them up tonight and they couldn't tell me that info. They said i need to go into my local branch with i.d then they will tell me. I would appreciate your comments very much!

Unless anyone here works for the bank, they cannot answer your question

I'd assume they've accepted you. It's a basic bank account so they accept most people unless they're bankrupt or have a history of fraud.

Yeah i got accepted and recieved everything today including my card have to say very quick! Im looking to build up some history with them then possibly upgrade to the reward current account in months to come.:beer:

i opened one up a couple of years ago.
purely to use for ebay as i didnt want to enter my current account details as ive had fraud on my account before.
i just went to the local branch account with my card, gave them the cash and said can you put that in this account please.
