    Taxpayers spend their money in the economy, which funds all the jobs. I think what you meant was that the Government uses the tax revenues to fund the public services which is, as far as I know the only feasible method of doing so?

    The Trades Union Congress’ High Court challenge over the government’s decisions to switch to the consumer price index from the retail price index has failed.

    The judicial review decision announced today found the government’s decision to switch the indexing of pensions from the retail prices index (RPI) to the consumer prices index was legal.
