HELP! Safe Style Windows

I had a quote from safe style windows a few weeks ago and signed and said yes £5700 then paid £80=£5620,that was for a bloke to check the measurements and put the order though to the factory.Windows to be fitted today so when they hadn`t turned up i rang to see why and was told they wanted £2500 more because the sales agent had quoted us wrong. Can they do this !!!!!! i`m gutted and sat here with a plasterer and no windows.

I hope you mean no NEW windows and your old ones are still in place.

It will all be down to the small print. If you have signed a leagally binding contract then they are obliged to supply.

They may have a get out clause which allows them to increase the price or not supply in the event of an incorrect quotation.

As i said check the small print of the document you signed.
