going to London Friday 3rd Sept 2010 for 2 days return sun the 5th,, got my hotel,, just need help with travel,, im in Manchester,, seen the virgin offers 11 pounds on the Sunday coming home, which im happy to pay,, but the Friday going is much more expensive,, as i would like to be in London for around 12 ish,, to make the most of my short visit,, any tips ?? should i buy the Sunday return now and see if the Friday reduces in price nearer the time?? or is there a better way?? did look at national express and we could get there and back the two of us for 12 pound,, but as the train faster i would prefer it,, any suggestion's????

Depends what time you want to travel on the Friday but the 19:55 Man Pic to Euston is showing at £11 each. (Only service I can find that day for £11.) - Just read your post again that you want to be there at mid day so no good!

Earlier in the day the 10:15, 10:35, 11:15, 11:35, 12:15, 12:35 and 12:55 are all £22 each so not too bad.
