Seriously, though. I am a Scot and proud of it (although having lived down south since I was 7 (50+ now) I haven't the accent. BUT, if we aren't playing then I will root for England. So I do hope they play well, beat Germany and that they give their fans something to cheer about. And yes, I will be watching the game on Sunday, and willing them to win.

As a neutral observer, I'd say England had 2 poor games and won the one that counts. Thats all thats needed.
I'd also say that England Germany is like an old firm game (although a good bit milder lol) and the form goes out the window.
The biggest misconception is that all Scots hate them. We dont. We hate the hype.

After what Beckenbauer's been saying I really hope it fires them up to go play like they did when we stuffed them 5-1....and Heskey even got on the scoresheet in that game! But I can't agree with the OP I'm afraid...we won just 1-0 against a team drawn from players of many lower division European teams, when we have all of ours playing in the Premiership, supposedly one of the top leagues in Europe. We only managed draws against two teams we should have stuffed...we finished second in a group behind a team that don't even know the name of the sport...it's FOOTBALL not soccer!!! I'm pleased as anybody that we won, and hope to God we go further but the team really do have to play a lot better (or hope the Germans play like we did against Algeria lol)

It's a bit like the world war this, Germany are rampaging through, England only still in because of the yanks, France surrenders and Italy gets defeated.
