Tesco's Delivery And Compensation Is Shameless

I ordered a product from Tesco, with a view to using it over the weekend.
It was essential I received it within the agreed time stated by Tesco.
I have since been informed that it has been sent to the other side of the country!
This has left me no time sourcing another item, nor do i have the time to go driving around to find a replacement.

What I really am disappointed about however, is their response to this issue.
Tesco, who are incidentally the biggest retailer in the UK have offered to find another Tesco for ME to pick it up, or as a gesture of 'Good Will' offer me a pathetic £1.30 as compensation!

Tesco make so much money and still their so called 'valued' customers are treated without any dignity or respect.

Shame on you Tesco!!!:mad:

    Hence why Equaliser suggested it should be on the vent board.

    Out of interest, what was the item? and what was the value?

    Exactly. This is a Consumer Rights board. OP hasn't given any details as to the problem.
