WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! updated confession!!!!

I walked out of my emergency temp job. My brain had died. It's not *that* big an emergency yet.

So, the big debt is not paid off yet. I am concentrating on getting a job that I can stomach in the long term, and temp. job were so slow confirming shifts, it'd be impossible to book interviews in advance.

Won't be DF for a while yet.. so I ain't going anywhere...

Big hugs to you, shame the job did not work out but hopefully you will get a new one soon. You are right to be looking for permanent jobs and arranging interviews and be tricky.

  • Hi Emmzi

I'm fairly new but I have followed some of your threads so wanted to say sorry that the temp job didn't work out.

I think it is difficult to do the temping when you need to focus and concentrate on a permanent job. You gave it your best shot but I would put all your energies into finding what you really want to do.

    Good luck

Aww emmz, poor you hon - I know what it's like to be in the temp job from doom! I'm trapped in two right now! Your sanity and wellbeing are more important than your bank balance though, so well done for having the courage to walk out. Hope you sort yourself out soon honey.xxx

  • My mum says there are no such things as setbacks, only opportunities. There must be something in it - I've lost count of the setbacks I've had that have provided her with the opportunity to say it, and things have always worked out one way or another :)
