Alternatives to eBay (for clothing)

I have a few nice bits of clothing I'd like to sell, but I just can't bring myself to use eBay as I've had too many bad experiences and often ended up out of pocket. Does anyone know any decent alternatives, especially for clothes? I've tried Preloved in the past but whenever I got a message from an interested buyer I never heard back from them again. (Don't know if that was because the prospective buyer changed their mind, or because they never received my response!)
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I really can't think of any online alternative, but have you thought of those dress agency type places locally?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There's http://www.bigwardrobe.com/
there are a few others online, sorry can't think, google, online dress agency or second hand clothes.
I think that I'm going to give big wardobe a go, it'e really cheap to sell, so worth a go.
I would be intersted to know if anyone else has sold or bought on there.0 -
I found a few good alternatives here: ebay-alternatives.co.uk - I doubt any would have anywhere near as many buyers as ebay though.0
