Of interest primarily to amateur radio users and those not on ADSL Max or ADSL 2 but as the gigabyte PLT devices are coming in, it'll affect everyone who listens to FM radio, old folk in sheltered accommodation who rely on warning systems etc.

Surely Ofcom could have saved having a 156-page report written simply by requiring that Power-Line Technology (which they should have spelled out in full) must not cause interference outside the home where it is installed, and prohibiting the sale or use of any new equipment that does?
They may now be a bit late with 14/85/200 Mbps Homeplug technology, and should have insisted on the same requirement when it was being introduced.
They really are a toothless and apathetic bunch, aren't they!0 -
