ANyone had this problem wit Uswitch?
I switched power on Uswitch last week, because Eon were putting up my bills by another £10 a month. Meaning £840 per year
I did a search and found scottish power could do it for £692, so i thought great happy days, i changed over but got a letter yesterday from scottish power saying thanks for joining your monthly bill will be £66!!!! Meaning £792 per year.
I checked again on Uswitch to make sure i hadnt got it wrong, and i hadnt, granted the same plan had gone up to £707 per year this week but thats stil £85 per year less than what they are proposing.
Has anyone else had this, im really mad and wont be using scottish power if they charge me this amount.

Did you sign up to SP's Energy reward tariff.
If so as part of that tariff £105 will be credited to your account in June 2011. This is not taken into account when they work out your DD's, so effectively your monthly payments will be £105 too great after 1 year but they will then credit back to you.
You are really giving them a loan.0 -
No didnt sign up to this, however i have just rung them and i have renegotiated the price to what it should be now. They said the details entered into uswitch were wrong (which they werent) but alls well that ends well. I should be getting £70 cash back as well0
