Item not received - but I have proof of delivery

Hi there, I was wondering where I stand on this matter.
I have sold over 100 items on ebay but never had this problem. I send everything recorded delivery and the last item I sold the buyer is saying that they have not received.
I checked on royal mail and the item was delivered the day after I posted and signed for. Royal Mail is even showing the signature which looks like the buyer's name.
I sent it to the address registered in paypal.
If I have proof of delivery will paypal rule in my favour?

Yes.
Have you given the tracking ref to the buyer? It could have gone to an old address and the receiver may have just signed the addressee's name.0 -
Thanks for your reply,
I have replied to the buyer stating that the item was sent recorded delivery and there is a signature which proves delivery.
I have asked the buyer if they would like the tracking number and they are yet to get back to me.Currently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350Debt free date October 2014:jDoing it for my girlies!!:j38lbs lost in 2011SW for May 8lb/7lb0 -
I would email them the tracking number and ask them to confirm back the full postal address. In the meantime check the address on Ebay and Paypal were the same as that you sent to.
Nothing more you can do really.0 -
I agree, just make sure that you sent it to the address given as 'OK to send' by paypal (the ebay address is immaterial). Also add your tracking number to paypal.

Hi, if they paid by Paypal you can go into the "details" of the transaction and scroll down to the bottom and enter the tracking number there. Paypal then send the buyer an email with the tracking number. HTH gl xI must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
