Pre-Euro European Currency / Any charity schemes ?

Hi,

Clearing out an old drawer I have found envelopes containing

French Francs
Italian Lira
Dutch Guilders

Both coins and notes

Obviously all of it is no longer legal tender in the respective countries since the Euro, although I believe, like the UK, you can change notes at the head office of the "Bank Of England, France, Holland, Etc".

Since I am never going to be in a position to do that, I was wondering if there are any charity schemes that would be able to benefit, that collect such banknotes and cash them in ?

Any ideas ?
