can anyone confirm instore works?

Wine discount doesnt come off online, i have an old version an new version account.

No codes work on either.

But the 2 main meals instead of the 1 main 1 side still works. the discount was taken out of in my old version basket.

Princesswoo, have you actually ordered and rcd your order yet?? We could see that the wine discount doesnt come off online in virtual basket but gemnjordsnjades has actually placed an order anyway and was going to see what happened.
If you've actually bought and the wine discount didn't come off can you please confirm.

I have placed an order for delivery tomorrow - with 6 meal deals, but no discount was showing, so I gave customer services a ring to find out roughly how much my bill would be. She said she didn't know as I had other items in my shopping bag (estimated prices with things that needed to be weighed etc) so I asked specifically if they would give the 25% discount on the 6 bottles of wine if they were in the meal deal - and she said they would definitely NOT be doing that!

when m&s done this last year with 25% off six wines it did work with their meal deal.

Whoops...sorry, fingers crossed it does work and I've not let the cat out the bag! When M&S did the 25% 6 bottles, it worked with the meal deal - so it theory it should work with Tesco....!

Apologies if I've scuppered the deal! I'm still going to place my order, it's being delivered tomorrow morning, so as soon as I know if it's worked, I'll report back!

I doubt one call would do that CS probably just thought you were cheeky and moved on to the next call

In all honesty if you take screen shots of the 25% off, if they do charge full price then they should really refund, they always have with me, but it is a risk you take.

Today both old and new sites showing 25% off :cool:

Not on this occasion but i did order the excat meal deal offer with 2 mains instead of 1 main 1 side a few weeks ago. When codes did work on my old account,.

It was all delivered for the bargain price.

I told the delivery driver of the offer and he immediately rang his wife to get her to go and do it too.

REMEMBER if you order and you look at your bill and its too high you can refuse to accept it and ask the driver to return it for a refund.

Or you can argue the toss with tesco's CS cos all the advertising says:
25% of ALL wine and champagne, i havent seen an exclusion saying meal deal wine isnt included.

It worked in store!! Got 6 meal deals ( the Valdara white £9.99) The wine wasn't with the meals so i went to the wine aisle and grabbed them! Went to a young boy at checkout so he didn't suspect and had him check 1 meal deal lot with 2 mains and it worked so carried on...6 meal deals (12 mains!,6 desserts,6 bottles wine) £39...bought some other shopping and used a £7 off £50 till spit and a wine club £1.75 off 4 bottles so v.happy!!!
