Hello,
Anyone have any experience of purchasing wifi access from The Cloud for an iPod Touch? Tried to buy the £3.99 service but somehow got billed for £11.99, Sent a request to cancel but read online customer service is terrible. Anyone have any experience of them?
Thanks

I thought that was Wethespoons network? It's usually free to log onto, certainly it is if you're in one of their pubs.0

Think its only free if you have an iPhone on o2, unless pubs and places like that are different.0

I've certainly used The Cloud network on my netbook whilst in Wetherpoons, and in several locations.0

"The Cloud" is not owned by Witherspoons, The pub chain just has a Free-Wifi deal with them
I'd not use "TheCloud" for any paid access, rather find a Witherspoons and use it for free.
If you have the option try and use BT-Fon / Openzone it's more reliable when it comes to money!Laters

Tried to use free Internet access and hit the log in screen all the time, so what gives. Found in pubs and Pret sandwich places, never freely available. Do you need to register for free access?
OP
Cloud pay as you go 7 days is £11.99.
Hardly free is it. It was free some time ago I'm sure.
Cancel in writing giving 1 month notice, but your time limited to 7 days.0 -
I'm thinking yes.
Go to the cloud website and register (whilst at home?) then log in with your mobile device and download their bit of connection software called "fastconnect" (not needed but makes life easier). When you go to your chosen hotspot you should be able to access the internet free:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -

The Cloud provide internet service in MacDonalds as well. It's free and you can register when you connect in the restaurant. I think the same applies in Weatherspoons.0
