Problems receiving returned emails

Options
can anyone explain, why when I have sent an email to a friend (we are both on Virgin (@blueyonder.co.uk) and have sent emails in the past with out any issues

however recently I have sent at least 2 separate emails to this friend, who has since informed me he replied using the standard reply to sender option

yet I have not received any emails from this friend, and they are not in the Junk folder

have got email account set up on both windows mail, and now on Virgins own web browser but don't get a reply in either set up

anyone shed any light why I'm not getting the emails back

TIA

Ask your friend what email address appears when he clicks "Reply". If you (accidentally) setup a "Reply-To" email address in your email program and webmail all replies will go there.

would this not show in my settings, as I can say I'm pretty certain I've never set this up, don't even know a) about this feature, b) or how to set it up

thanks again, will send a email now
