Help-Problem With Ex Display Taps - Advice on Returning Them Tomorrow?
[Deleted User]

Hi all
In May i bought some ex display bath taps (complete with a shower fitting) from a high street shop. I have just got round to fitting them and found there are two problems:
1. The shower head has been made out of line (hard to describe, but basically the hose comes out of it at a funny angle)- this is only noticeable when you come to put it on the wall.
2. The lower part of the taps where you attach the water supply pipes seems to have a faulty thread which means it is impossible to fully screw on the flexible supply hose.
I have the receipt for £59 (a also bought a £70 shower screen the same day)
Basically before i go in to ask for a refund/exchange could anyone enlighten me as to what my rights are, considering it was bought ex display and considering i have taken 6 weeks to return it.
The faults were not clearly visible until i actually came to fit them and i simply didn't have the time until this week to fit them.
Can i reasonably expect a refund or an exchange?
Any advice appreciated
