OP at least you know what your deeds say, as so many people use cheap conveyancers who never tell you that your deeds say that and you move in with a commercial van and you become a right prat in the eyes of your neighbours...you are seen as a cheap person who used a cheap useless conveyancer. My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0 -
How on earth did this become a discussion about 'useless conveyancers'??? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Timmy - get off your hobbyhorse and stick to the issue!
btw, in my younger days I had an old black cab. Lovely vehicle. It was 10 years old and didn't meet the exacting standards of the Met, who licence cabs in London. But it passed the MOT year after year and was a fine vehicle for london.
Did it " the devaluing of the estate if people start driving an ambulance up the drive - an ugly sight " ??
What rubbish!0 -
there is one street of 10 house where there are 7 commercial vehicles. the house sare worth less becyuse they are an eye sore.
think before you bring one on to your driveMy posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:

Streets can be devalued by loads of things, some legal, some not. Boarded up windows, kids on the street corner, rubbish left lying around.
Whether someone chooses to drive an ex ambulance, or in my case an ex black cab, is amatter of choice. Does it devalue the street? Maybe, maybe not. How about the chap constantly fixing his car in the road? Or the tatty caravan on the drive?
You really are talking a load of xxxx Timmy.
But to return to the OP: an ambulance used as a camper is clearly not a commercial vehicle, so ignore the neighbour.0 -

You really are talking a load of xxxx Timmy. we agree, cant you read. at £200 an hour, i am paid to be right. its what i do. but your 'knowledge' of the law is a welcome chuckle - told you before, its why i joined MSE, to step in and correct some long term posters
But to return to the OP: an ambulance used as a camper is clearly not a commercial vehicle, so ignore the neighbour. not that easy, as a covenant lawyer will tell you

if it was enforced you might be in a bit of trouble as the point of the covenant is to stop anything other than private motor vehicles.there is one street of 10 house where there are 7 commercial vehicles. the house sare worth less becyuse they are an eye sore.

We have now registered the campervan with DVLA, although it cannot be PLG as it is too new, (51 reg) and cannot change its N1 status, still the photos sent to DVLA clearly show it is a nice camper conversion, not an ugly eyesore Timmy !!
We will seek advise from the Citizens advice before continuing.
I will not be forced to change what i drive due to snotty neighbours
ps, the other 'commercial' next door to the neighbours has not been touched, as they also drive Porsche's0
