Winter pansies

They are past their best and very leggy now. Is there any way I can prolong them. If I trimmed each leg back, would the plants flower again or should I chuck like I usually do?

you can pick the seed pods out of the back and they should be able to generate new seeds from that. Teeny tiny though! Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790 -
Depending where you put them if you leave them alone they self sow. I tend to dump mine elsewhere in the garden and then discover some of my neighbours particularly the one whose garden is a weed bed have pansies popping up everywhere next year.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Try trimming them, as they are short lived perennials its worth a go.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
