i have tried to use entitled to website but it does not work for me.
I am about to move out of my 1 bed flat to a 2 bed flat with a friend.
The reason i can no longer live alone is because of an illness and constantly having to go back and forth to hospital.
Living with somone will make a huge difference to me, even though my friend will continue to work full time (8-4pm) its good that i will have someone on the evenings with me.
however will i lose my housing benefits?? as she will be earning full wages to pay for her side of the rent and bills.
I would still need to pay for my side of the rent.
i get disability living allownace mobilty higher rate and esa at the basic stage £65 per week as my ssp ran out as i exceeded the 28 weeks.
also if i go back to my job work when i get better, will i still get my tax credits or is it classed as being with a partner even though she is a friend.
I get £101 a week tax credits for being disabled and working.
it is a council 2 bed flat

Get your benefits checked before you move. Contact your CAB or Social Services or even speak to the Housing Benefit office.
It will be easier to sort things out before you move, in case its a bad idea.
Of course, your housing and council tax benefits will be affected exactly how will depend on your incomes, please take advice before you move.

You will need to prove that you and your friend are just flatmates and not a couple. The fact that you are giving up a one bedroom flat, to share a two-bed with her, and also proof of your medical condition (the difficulties of living alone), should go some way towards proving this.0
