Insolvency service IT Delay

For anyone expecting disruption from the new IT system on 2/7/10 onwards it would seem that the this has been put back by 2 weeks to 16/7/10

    I believe so, the current system was installed in 1992

    Actually its an AIX system, which is very slightly better than MS DOS, thats the extent of my computer knowledge im sure Bat would know what that means

    I know of it, but not much about it, a lot of the computer systems i installed UPS systems for where IBM servers, so that may be why it rings a bell :think:

    And what it stood for.?

    The for runner to MS DOS, written for IBM, as they where strugleing to get an OS to work there new PC's, according to the storys back then

    And how it turned bill gates from a spotty kid, to a spotty very very rich kid:p
