Large Villa next July

Thinking about planning a girly holiday/ reunion for next summer, probably last week in July, have to go in school holildays http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/frown.gif There will be 9 of us and ideally want our own beds, so probably about a 7/ 8 bed villa with a pool, where the sun will hopefully shine http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/sport-smiley-001.gif Just don't know where to start - which country would be best. - should we stay near a resort (where we might not like all the other English abroad) or have to hire 2 cars (and drive in scary traffic) to a quiet location. - where are the best places to look for villas- a google search is overwelming. - Is it better to book really early (now), a bit early (Jan sales) or last minute (June, but then have high travel costs). Any advice welcome. Thank you
