Voip to Spain

I've been signed up with Voipcheap for a while: as a uni student I use it mainly to call mobiles and UK landlines. But it's cash deadline is approaching 9 tomorrow. And this year, my boyfriend's going to Spain and to avoid astronomical I want to use Voip to call him mostly.
Should I sign up with Voip Cheap for another three months to prevent wasting the £4 I have left on the account, or are there better services? UK Landlines, Spanish landline and Spanish mobile (or UK mobby abroad) are especially important.
Please help!!!
Thanks.

Check the terms, as I think some Finarea companies have changed the credit arrangement and it doesn't expire, but a top-up gets the free calls, though there is discussion about that too. Do a search for recent threads about Voipcheap (.co.uk and .com)
Babble has an offer, time limited though, of up to 30 minutes a day free calls to landlines for a £1.50 fee paid by premium rate mobile text message.
I like Voipfone, with 1.1 pence a minute calls
There are some Australian VoIP providers that have a fixed fee per call of up to an hour to landlines, like 19c (=8p) at Astratel, paid in small advance lump sums, which could be useful if you have long chats. I haven't tried it yet.
If he gets a Spanish SIM, which would certainly be better than using a UK one abroad, I'd suggest Vodafone has an interesting 60 for 1 minutes option, which could be used with a phonecard, or another method that could call your Voipcheap or other VoIP account or VoIP-in numbers for only the cost of the Spanish call.0
