Voip to Spain

I've been signed up with Voipcheap for a while: as a uni student I use it mainly to call mobiles and UK landlines. But it's cash deadline is approaching 9 tomorrow. And this year, my boyfriend's going to Spain and to avoid astronomical I want to use Voip to call him mostly.
Should I sign up with Voip Cheap for another three months to prevent wasting the £4 I have left on the account, or are there better services? UK Landlines, Spanish landline and Spanish mobile (or UK mobby abroad) are especially important.

Check the terms, as I think some Finarea companies have changed the credit arrangement and it doesn't expire, but a top-up gets the free calls, though there is discussion about that too. Do a search for recent threads about Voipcheap (.co.uk and .com)
Babble has an offer, time limited though, of up to 30 minutes a day free calls to landlines for a £1.50 fee paid by premium rate mobile text message.
I like Voipfone, with 1.1 pence a minute calls
There are some Australian VoIP providers that have a fixed fee per call of up to an hour to landlines, like 19c (=8p) at Astratel, paid in small advance lump sums, which could be useful if you have long chats. I haven't tried it yet.
If he gets a Spanish SIM, which would certainly be better than using a UK one abroad, I'd suggest Vodafone has an interesting 60 for 1 minutes option, which could be used with a phonecard, or another method that could call your Voipcheap or other VoIP account or VoIP-in numbers for only the cost of the Spanish call.0
