remove stickers from UPVC door?

Hi, can anyone recommend a cleaning product that will remove the remnants of some foam sticker things my kids stuck to our front door? Would WD40 work? What can I use that won't damage/scratch/discolour the plastic?

I've searched the forums for advice, but most threads on cleaning UPVC seem to be more about removing dirt/stains.....

nail polish remover, white spirit, isopropyl alcohol, lighter fluid, wd40 etc etc etc basically any solvent.

I can vouch for isopropyl, nail polish remover and lighter fluid as I have personally used those for cleaning upvc doors/windows

  • Olive oil is often surprisingly effective, and also won't leave any damage.

Mayonnaise! Along the lines of olive oil I guess, but it works like magic - you leave it to soak in for 10 mins and it virtually wipes off. Magic :)
