lloyds vantage - can you transfer from another lloyds account

to qualify for the higher rate of interest can the £1000 that has to be paid in monthly be from another lloyds account?? or does it have to be from an external source.

also is there a set time the money has to be in for or is it like halifax where it can be in and out of that account within minutes???

It can be from another Lloyds account.

As long as it hits the account it is fine. It can be there for a second only!

thanks, from next month will probably just include it in the money going between my halifax reward accounts ie halifax 1 to halifax 2 to halifax 3 to lloyds vantage, but for this month until i get chance to set them up as payees etc then just wanted to send £1000 in quick to make sure in time for the end of this month.

Unlike Halifax where it does not make sense to leave money in for the whole month, in TSB Vantage the money actually earns interest so makes sense to leave it there i.e. upto £7K. You can have upto 3 Vantage and if you keep 7K in each, then you only need to circulate 1K through the 3 a/cs.

Lol, i feel guilty doing it but £120 so far from my halifax rewards! (£135 from end of next week!)

I will be made redundant next month and should receive my redundancy pay out around 22nd July, as i have just opened the one current account with vantage, will it be too soon to open another one so that I can leave some of the redundancy money.

I have a classsic current account with lloyds without the vantage as I use as budgeting account so all that is in it is what covers that months bills (so not worth adding the vantage to that),

i have recently opened a new one and added vantage onto it. will want to open another one as will have more than the £7k for the higher rate. (as dont want to go over this as i understand that above the £7k, it is very low interest for the rest that is above that)

I only have a card for one of my three and no cheque book, so yes just say that you don't want them.:j

Yes I requested no cheque book or card for my second and third accounts. They still issued the cards regardless.
