Moulded doors - primer needed?

We have had new doors fitted - they're the wooden white moulded ones (if you know what I mean). Do we need to put primer / undercoat on as it's not bare wood, or can we just go straight for the top coat of Satinwood paint.
Thanks for your advice!!

you can paint directly on top.
no primer or undercoat required.Get some gorm.0 -
The edges possibly will need priming and undercoat as no doubt they will be bare softwood, especially if they have been planed down to fit in the frame.0

Thanks! Yes, I have primed the edges, but won't bother with the flat bits now!!0

Prime edges and really for coverage your better off applying a thin undercoat before the satinwood top coat but not essentual as they will need 2 satinwood coats any way0

Undercoat the whole area of the door if you are looking for something to do. If not, then go straight on with the gloss. Paint both sides asap to prevent any tendency for the doors to warp.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
