Can someone explain how this is £146.33 cheaper than my current provider?
Current provider EDF:
Gas unit rates: 6.535p per kWh 2.975p per kWh above 2680 kWh p.a
Electricity unit rates: 11.19p per kWh 8.73p per kWh above 900 kWh p.a

Prospective New Provider EON:
Gas unit rates: 6.525p per kWh 3.158p per kWh above 2680 kWh p.a
Electricity unit rates: 23.489p per kWh 10.007p per kWh above 900 kWh p.a

At those prices I make them some £200 dearer.
I use 22442kwh of gas and 6511kwh of Electric annually.

Eon give you discounts of 18 to 25% off their (more expensive) naked unit prices when you pay by direct debit. EDF provide a much smaller discount and more clear and honest pricing.

[STRIKE]If[/STRIKE]When you manually double-check the comparison site's recommendation you have to take those discounts into consideration.

Your current electricity looks like a bargain.

I am with British gas i'm paying

    Gas: 6.493 / 2.926 Excluding VAT
    Elec 22.708 / 9.822 Excluding VAT

I have looked on British Gas website and cannot find the figures im paying in any of the current pricing bands so ive no idea where they get my rates from.

Anyone know of a webpage which shows prices by unit by provider?. The comparison process seems very over complicated.
