£50 reward for joining bank

Just been informed that if you have a bank account with a bank that's part of a group of banks, you can't get the £50 reward if you want to join another part of the banking group' were is the fairness there, false advertising.

In what way is the advertising false, if they tell you before you sign up?0

the money is for switching to the banking group so they profit from your business not another bank, if you belong to that banking group already then they are already profiting from you so they dont make any money by you switching and therefore dont give you an incentive to switch.
plus it will say at the bottom of the advert not available to existing customers or employees sometimes0 -
There are very few offers made to consumers that don't contain terms and conditions. The onus is always on you to read them. By all means complain if this restriction isn't mentioned, but I bet it will be.0
