pension & dla problem

Options
my mum gets high rate dla and also her pension.

both were being paid seperatly until the dla stopped. when she queried why it had stopped they told her it was now being paid with her pension, which it isnt.

depsite numerous phone calls to both parties and the promise of it being dealt with urgently, she is still not getting her dla.

where does she go from here? does she complain? if so who to?

thanks
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

From asking my wife (she works for the pension service, well until tomorrow :D )

If the DLA is to be paid with the pension, the payment is made by the pension service as one payment with the pension, but when DCS pass DLA through, the payment for it to be made with the pension, the details have to be manually entered by the Pension Service, at the moment they have case backlogs, but they will backdate any missed payments.

The best place to start to chase up is with Pension Direct, newcastle, they should be able to see whats happening, you can call on 0845 3013011.

They wouldn't tell you anything unless they had authorisation from your mum.
