For all those that were interested in the Telegraph game, I see Barclays Bank have just introduced a similar game which is free to play, so this maybe if interest. They call it the Fantasy Investment Portfolio and is accessible from the investments section barclays.co.uk/investments of their website or barclaysfantasyfundmanager.co.uk

Register before 12:00 on 30 November to participate.
The aim of the game is to generate the highest investment returns on an imaginary £100,000 portfolio for the duration of the competition.
Build your own portfolio or go for a lucky dip option called 'Auto Select'.
Barclays appear to be helping more people to understand the world of investing without having to stump up any money.
